How to Have a Successful Job Interview-
Tip #1- Etiquette and Demeanor is Important. As the presenter noted, your posture and general appearance is VERY important. One thing that always amazes me is seeing people who show up in jeans to a job interview! It makes no sense. Please, dress professionally. I don't care if the work environment is relaxed or laid back. You can wear jeans all you want (if that's the office dress code) after you get the job.
Tip #2- Take Notes. Taking notes will make you appear more intelligent and astute. As she stated in the video, make sure you're making eye contact as well. It's important to be listening and engaged during an interview as well.
Tip #3- Make Sure You Ask at Least One Question after the Interview. When asked if you have any questions, always say YES. So many people don't have questions and this will make you stand out as well. A great question to ask the interviewer is, "What do you love most about working for this company?"
